The ECOWAS Project Preparation and Development Unit (PPDU) was established by Regulation C/REG.5/08/11 adopted in August 2011 as Specialized Agency mandated to prepare regional bankable infrastructure projects in line with the ECOWAS objectives of regional integration and economic development.
