October 28–29, 2024: Meeting to approve the PPDU’s five-year strategic business plan

Officials from the Project Preparation and Development Unit (PPDU), the ECOWAS Permanent Delegation in Togo, the Department of Infrastructure, Energy, and Digitalization, the Directorate of Strategic Planning, the Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate, the Communication Division of the ECOWAS Commission, the ECOWAS National Unit in Togo, the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (BIDC), the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), the ECOWAS Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (ARAA), the consulting firm CPCS, and the consulting firm IMCG will meet from October 28 to 29, 2024, in Lomé (Togo) to review the draft five-year strategic plan of the PPDU for the period 2025–2029.

The PPDU’s five-year strategic business plan is intended to enable the PPDU to establish itself as one of the leading infrastructure project preparation units on the continent over the next five (5) years and to serve as a short-term strategic framework for aligning the aspirations of ECOWAS’s Vision 2050 and the ECOWAS Regional Infrastructure Master Plan.

This meeting is organized by the ECOWAS Project Preparation and Development Unit (PPDU). The opening remarks were delivered, on behalf of Mr. DOUKA SEDIKO, ECOWAS Commissioner for Infrastructure, Energy, and Digitalization, by Mr. KEBBA FYE, Acting Director of the PPDU. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of the ECOWAS Resident Representative to the Togolese Republic, H.E. Mr. Barros Bacar BANJAI.
